- Tennessee ranks between 33rd and 42nd in income, despite having an economic outlook that is 2nd in the nation. By offering tax breaks to companies that choose to locate here, we can encourage them to provide higher pay to a well-educated workforce, supporting the residents of District 89. Affordable housing is of utmost importance for the people of Tennessee and we must plan accordingly.

Healthcare
- Citing his personal background as a primary caregiver for his mother and brother, DeBord focuses heavily on improving healthcare infrastructure for the state's aging population and supporting family caregivers.

Infrastructure
- Corridor Upgrades: Emphasizing the population growth in Knoxville and the surrounding region, DeBord prioritizes securing resources to upgrade and maintain key thoroughfares like the Oak Ridge Highway (State Route 62)
